Dear Mr. Reid:
Your letter of September 11, 1979 requested Florida Power Corporation to submit additional information concerning the alternate safe shutdown capability modification proposed for Crystal River Unit 3.
Florida Power Corporation is utilizing Gilbert Associates, Inc. to design this additional shutdown panel for Crystal River Unit 3.
As of this writing, we have received CAI's portion of the information you reque-r a in the enclosure of your letter concerning this modification.
This letter is to inform you that we will require an additional week to complete our internal review of the GAI input prior to submitting this data to you for your review.
It is hoped that this slight delay will not impact your staff's overall review of this proposed modification.
