This is in response to your letters of November 17, 1977 and September 28, 1978 by which you transmitted revised pages to your Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan.
We have reviewed your revised pages to the Plan and find them acceptable.
In order to incorporate the revised pages, License Condition 2.1 has been revised and new Conditions 5.2 and 7.6 have been added to Amendment MPP-2 to Special Nuclear Material (SNM) License No. SNM-777, effective immediately.
These Conditions read as follows:
2.1 The licensee shall follow the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan dated November 1,1976; as amended by the attachments to the following letters.
- February 24, 1977, Change 1
- June 23, 1977, Change 2 November 17, 1977, Change 3
- June 28, 1979
- September 28, 1978, Change 4
- December 29, 1978, Change 5.
Except, a) The paragraph in Exhibit 4.2.1.1, and b) The second paragraph of 4.5.1.2.1.
These items are excluded from incorporation in this Condition.
5.2 In lieu of the requirement of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(3) to conduct physical inventories at stated intervals, the licensee shall follow Section 5.4 of the Plan identified in License Condition 2.1.
7.6 Notwithstanding the requirement of 10 CFR 70.58(d)(4) to determine the uranium and U-235 content of all material tamper-safed and transferred to ICAs, the licensee shall follow Section 7.4.1.2 of the Plan identified in License Condition 2.1.
