We are writinE to urge you and tne Cocrission to release all portions of the transcripts of the Safety Hearings of tne proposed Black Fox nuclear plant in Oklahoma.
Tne safety hearings f or tne propsed plant were secret hearings wnich totally excluded all members of tne press and public. When hearings--especially important hearings regarding public healtn and safety--pre held behind closed dcors, there is always great suspicion that the public's interest is not being served.
In view of the public alarm and suspicion raised' by the accident at tne Three Mile Island Nuclear Fower plant, we feel tnat it is particularly important ttat tne Nuclear Regulatory Ccz2ission release all portions of tne trans-cripts of the Black Fox Safety Hearin5s--including the portions dealing witn the secret Reed Report.
