Dear LCOL Garrett:
This is in reply to your letter dated March 22, 1979 requesting infonnation regarding trainir.g programs at Maine Yankee.
In reply to your questions, the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company submitted a revised training program on September 19, 1978.
Our review indicated that appropriate remedial measures had been taken.
In a letter dated October 4,1978, we indicated that, based on our review, we would accept their certification on an interim basis, contingent upon the results of future examinations.
Copies of both above-mentioned documents have been provided to the Local Public Document Room.
Since that time, we have administered examinations to two operator license applicants and two senior operator license applicants.
The four individuals passed the examinations and were issued licenses.

I wauld appreciate it if you would respond to the followig questions:

Has subdttal been made?
2.
Has it been appmved by the lac ?
3.
Does the lac now accept certifications ?
4 Have any applicants taken examinations since June 1978 ? If so, what were the results.
I would appreciate any and all infomation you can pmvide regardin; the current status of the training pmgram at Maine Yankee.
