Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection cond'ucted by Messrs. J. L. Belanger
and C. A. Schwan of this office on December 6-7, 1978, of activi-
ties at the Ford Nuclear Reactor authorized by NRC Operating
License No. R-28 and to the discussion of our findings with Messrs.
R. Burn and G. Cook of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspectors also examined corrective action you have taken with
respect to matters identified during the physical protection in-
spection of April 26-28, 1978, (IE Inspection Report No. 50-002/
78-01). We have no further questions on these matters at this time.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified
during the course of this inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection concern a subject utter
which is exempt from disclosure according to Section 2.7'.30 of
the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal
Regulations. Consequently, our report of this inspection will
not be placed in the Public Document Rooa.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this
inspection.
