DIESEL GENERATOR ALARMS We have reviewed the information provided in your letters of July 7, 1978, October 31, 1978, and January 4, 1979, in response to our letters of May 31, 1978 and September 25, 1978, regarding the diesel generator alarm and control circuitry at North Anna Power Station, Unit 1.

Based on our review of the information, we have concluded that the design features provided in the Unit 1 design with regard to inoperable conditions of the diesel generators and associated alarms augmented by administrative controls meet our requirements and are, therefore, acceptable.
