On January 3,1979, a meeting was held to discuss the deficiencies in the Modified Amended Security Plan (MASP) for Indian Point, Units 1 and 2 (list of attendees enclosed). All deficiencies were resolved except one. The staff position regarding this deficiency to ce incluoed witnin the MASP is enclosed (Enclosure A).
This enclosed document is considered proprietary information and.is being witnheid from ouolic disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR Section 2.790.
Please note that this letter is considered the letter of notification in accordance with Review Guideline 422 that we previously provided to you for guidance regarding unresolved issues.
An additional item regarding the use of compensatory measures in the MASP was also discussed. More information has been proviced to you in Mr. Stello's letter cated January 3,1979, in reply to your letter to :tr. Denton, cated December 5,1978.
