SCHEDULE FOR THE RADIOLOGICAL SAFETY REVIEW 0F HAVEN UNIT 1 This letter is in regard to the establishment of a schedule for the safety review of your application for a construction permit for your Haven Nuclear Plant Unit 1.

A summary of the more important milestones is provided as an Enclosure for your information and review.

It should be realized that the enclosed dates are target milestones which may require some changes as the review process proceeds. While we will not formally inform you of minor schedule changes, we will confirm, in writing, significant crianges to the schedule.

You should review the dates asso

.ed with the milestones that require your input and advise us as to whether you believe the dates ?re realistic or should be adjusted.

I suggest that a representative of your organization telephone Mr. Robert Capra, the Licensing Project Manager for tne Haven safety review, to discuss the schedule.

If, during the course of our review, you believe there is a need to appeal a staff position because of disagreement, this need should be brought to the staff's attention as early as possible so that the appro-uriate meeting can be arranged on a timely basis. A written request is 7 9 012 2 o lo g A
