Docket No. 50-285

Dear Mr. Seyfrit:

The Omaha Public Power District has received IE Eulletin 79-28, dated December 17, 1979, in regard to possible malfunction of NAMCO Model EA 180 linit switches at elevated temperatures.

In response, a review was conducted and it was determined that no NAMC0 Model EA 180 limit switches are currently in use at the Fort Calhoun Station.

However, a number of these switches have been ordered and are scheduled to be installed in safety related systems in containment.

When these switches are received, they will be in-spected and modified, if necessary, in accordance with Item 2 of the bulletin, before they are installed and put into use.

Sincerely, t
