Dear Mr. Bradley:

In regards to your submittal of May 25, 1977, as revised November.21,1977, March 22,1978, May 24,1978 and January 31, 1979, we would like to inform you that the review and evaluation of the Peach Bottom Atemic Power Station Security Plan has been completed.
We conclude that the physical security plan for your facility, when fully implemented, will provide the protection needed to meet the general performance requirements of 10 CFR 73.55(a) and the objectives of the specific requirements of 10 CFR 73.55, paragraphs (b) through (h) without impairing your ability to safely operate your facility.
We therefore conclude that the plan is acceptable.
The approved security plan for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station will be incorporated in the facility's operating licenses and will become effective on or before February 23, 1979. Our review of your January 31, 1 979 submittal indicates that the compensatory measures you have outlined will provide equivalent protection in lieu of those systems that will not be fully impleniented by February 23, 1979.
S.hould there be any further delay in implementation of your approved plan, we request that you advise us promptly.
