In the matter of Duke Power Company, Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414, Duke Power Company intends to file an amendment to the application for permits to construct

and licenses to operate the Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, which will request authorization to operate each unit for a period of 40 years at power levels up to 3411 MWt.

Ten copies of the information required pursuant to 10CFR 50.33.
