SPRAYING SYSTEMS COMPANY TOPICAL REPORT 55C0-15215, "CONTAlf; MENT SPRAY N0ZZLES FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS" This letter is being written to acknowledge receipt of your letter of February 1,1979 and to describe the current status of our review of sub-ject topical report.
With your letter of February 1,1979, you provided copies of the informa-tion you had submitted on September 21, 1978 in response to our requests for additional information. As we discussed during our phone conversation of February 1st, we have no record of having previously received this materi al. Because of this past delay anich appears to have occurred through no fault of yours, we have rr. viewed the r.ioterial enclosed with your letter of February 1,1979 on al expedited basis. We find that the responses you submitted are acceptable.
We will be writing a Topical Report ~ valuation that will find the subject topical report to be an acceptable reference for specific license appli-cations. In our evaluation, we wil somewhat broaden your statements regarding it.tcrface requirements.
That is, the interface requirements must be addressed by each applicant that references your topical report, not only Bechtel Corporation as was indicated i'i the material enclosed with your letter of February 1st.
There are a number of very high pr'ority licensit g reviews currently being performed. Therefore, we maf not be able a write and issue cur evaluation of the subject topical 'eport for about, three months. However, we do not anticipate any difficult'r in reaching a favorable conclusion in our evaluation.
