Valve protectors shall be provided as described in OR0-p51, Rev. 3.

The fabrication (new packagings only), assembly (new packagings only), testing, maintenance, and use of packagings shall be in accordance with the requirements of CRO-651, Rev. 3 except that design shell thickness is 5/16", minimum allowable shell thickness is 1/4", and the routine hydrostatic test is to be performed at 200 lb/sq in. Materials of construction for the 48 OM packaging are given in Job Specification JSP-226 and for the 48 H packaging in Equipment Specification fio. ES-CMD-14864-1, Revision fio. 0 (alternate A285 steel not authorized).

The Model fio. 48 HX packaging shall be transported only.when a-determimtion has been made by the shipper that the average daily temperat2re or ambient temperature during the shipment will not be less than 30 F a1d the temperature of the contents at the time of delivery to carrier for.trans] ort is at least 30 F.

The package shall be transported on a motor vehicle, railroaa car, aircraft, inland water craft, or hold or deck of a seago,ing sessel assigned for the sole use of the shipper.

10. The package authorized by this Certificate of Compliance.is hereby approved for use under the general license provisions of.10 CFR 171.12(b).
