Changes made to the enclosed certificate are indicated by vertical lines in the margin.
Allied Chemical Corporation, Kerr-McGee Nuclear Corporation, and Department of Energy have been registered as users of this package under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 571.12(b) c.

This approval constitutes authority to use this package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 5173.393a.
Please note that a condition is included in the certificate regarding the minimum ambient temperature at which the Model 48 HX packaging may be shipped. This condition was added in consideration of the potential fracture characteristics of A-285, Grade C material at cold temperatures.
