SEP Eevicu of Safe Shutdown Systets Your letter, Reference (b), requested Yankee to examine the facts upon thich the staff has based its evaluations for the SEP Review of safe chutdown systems for the Yankee-Rowe plant.
Because of the recent unexpected plant outage to repair a centrol rod drive, a proper review of this inf ornation cannot be conducted within the tiac constraints established. Therefore, to allow additicnal time necessary t.o perform a complete and accurate revicu, we anticipate subritting our response on or before April 16, 1979.
