Thank you for your letters of December 1,1978, and January 26, 1979 in response to our letters of October 25, 1978 and December 21, 1978 and discussion with you during a telephone call on December 19,~1978.
We understand that the stated instructions have been presented to the responsible personnel in documented training sessions, and that the Quality Control examiners document their periodic examinations of the weld material storage areas on the Daily Inspection Report.
- Further, ITT Grinnell anticipates qualifying an individual as a Level III Exam-iner for visual examination by March 1,1979, and that written and practical examinations for visual examiners at the Warren Plant shall be prepared prior to April 16, 1979.
We have no further questions at this time and will review your corrective action during a future inspection.
