SUBJECT:
PERSONNEL CHANGES IN REGION Il This is to confirm our telecon of February 1, 1979, relating to the reassignment of personnel in Region II. These changes are as follows:
1.
D. T. Thompson, formely Deputy Director, Region II has been transferred to IE:HQ where he will be Executive Officer for Operations Support.
2.
F. J. Long, has been appointed Acting Deputy Lirector.
3.
R. C. Lewis, has been appointed Acting Chief, Reactor Operations and Nuclear Support Branch.
4.
F. S. Cantrell has been appointed Acting Chief, Reactor Projects Section No. 2.
5.
V. L. Brownlee has been transferred to the Reactor Operations and Nuclear Support Branch.
6.
R. D. Bradley has been assigned to the position of Principal Inspector.
Changes 1 is a permanent change. Changes 2,3, and 4 are temporary until the selection of Deputy Director is made. Change 5 is expected to last approximately one year during which time Brownlee will serve on a special Quality Assurance task force. At the end of that assignment Brownlee will be reassigned to the RC&ESB. Change 6 will remain in effect indefinitely until the Principal Inspector assignment 3are rotated.
