Dear Mr. Parker:

On February 13, 1979 you submitted (via telecopy) a copy of a security plan pursuant to 10 CFk 73.50 for the storage of Oconee spent fuel at the McGuire Nuclear Station. A subsequent phone conversation on February 16, 1979 between members of your staff and members of the Division of Safeguards revealed a number of changes that would be necessary for the implementation of this plan. At that time you indicated you would be mcking changes to the proposed plan and would submit a revised formal plan at a later date.

Your initial plan submitted pursuant to 10 CFR Part 2.790 is subject to withholding from public disclosure, he ever a record of the transmittal must be handled accordingly.

In order to insure a clear recoro La this matter please submit a letter either withdrawing the original submittal or acknowledging it for the record as your original plar.

This may be accomplished at the i.1me you 3ubmit your revised plan.
