Dear Mr. Tasker:
As Mr. Robert A. Clark, Chief of Reactor Safeguarcs Licensing Branch discussed with you, we request that the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company plant at Haddam, Connecticut, participate in a vital area analysis of the Haddam Neck Plant as part of the 10 CFR 73.55 implementation.
Therefore, we have scheduled a site visit to the Haddam Neck Plant during the week of May 13, 1979 for the purpose of obtaining information necessary for the analysis of vital areas at that site.
Representing the NRC staff for the site visit will be two members of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory (LASL) staff.
