Dear Mr. Meiss:

This is to confirm our telephone conversation of March 26, 1979 regarding certain aspects of document production in the above-captioned matter.

As you will recall, we agreed that the flRC Staff will be allowed to utilize the services of other parties in this proceeding to " green dot" those documents in the PG&E warehouse which are believed relevant to this proceeding. After the selection by those other parties, PG&E will make an additional copy for the flRC Staff and, when accumulated into box-size units, will ship the documents to the Staff's offices in Bethesda, Ma ryland.

After receipt by the Staff here, these warehouse documents will be processed as all other " green dotted" documents and those the Staff does not wish to retain will be returned to PG&E.

In this and all other aspects of the process, warehouse review will conform to our agreement on " green dotted" production, as discussed in ay previous letter to you of February 1,1979.

I also reminded you during our conversation of the previously withheld

" green dotted" documents, which PG&E has agreed to produce and appropriately mark for Staff review.

It is my understanding that no such documents have yet been made available to the Staff and we will continue looking for them as boxes arrive.

If I have misstated any of our conversation I would, of course, be pleased to hear from you.

Otherwise, I will presume this summarizes the current state of affairs with regard to the warehouse documents and the "previously withheld" documents. As I mentioned, at some point during the warehouse selLtion, I or another member of the Staff might be interested 7 9 0 4170 4TL

If so, I would look forward to seeing you again.

Best regards.
