Inspection on November 7-9,1978 (Report No. 70-371/78-19)
Areas Inspected:
Routine, unannounced inspection by a regional based inspector of nuclear material control and accounting including:
tamper-safing practices, shipping and receiving practices. The inspection involved 20 hours2.314815e-4 days <br />0.00556 hours <br />3.306878e-5 weeks <br />7.61e-6 months <br /> on site by one NRC inspector.
Resul ts :
Of the two areas inspected, there were no apparent items of noncompliance in one area; one apparent item of noncompliance was identified in one area (infraction - SNM content of a port, ion of a receipt not measured - Paragraph 3).

Tamper-Safino Practices The licensee uses pressure sensitive and type E seals to provide tamper indication on containers of SNM.
The inspector reviewed the licensee's method of application and removal, storage practices, audit practices and record system.
No items of noncompliance were identified.
