Dear Mr. Fleischmann:

Messrs. H. Kersh and J. Coley of the U'.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission are currently on assigrnent at Peach Bottom to conduct certain confirmatory measurements relative to non-destructive examination of RHR and recirculation piping in Unit 2.

Because of the nature of this assignment, it is necessary that these personnel be permitted to accumulate occupational expocure up to two Rem for the current calendar quarter. We understand from discussions between J. R. White of our office and Messrs. A. H11smeier and N. Gazda of your staff on July 6,1983, that such exposure accumulation will be accommodated and controlled by your administrative exposure control system; and that health physics coverage will be provided for these personnel in accordance with your normal radiation protection procedures.
