Dear Mr. Smith:
Florida Power Corporation has-reviewed the additional Quality Assurance Program requirements of 10 CFR 71.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 71.51(d), we will apply applicable portions of our Quality Assurance Program to transport packages covered under 10 CFR 71. Our existing Quality Assurance Program (submitted as Amendment 52 to the Final Safety Analysis Report for Crystal River Unit 3, dated 5/9/77, and its Addendum 1, dated 5/20/77) satisfies 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and was approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on 5/31/77.
