Dear Mr. Reed:
T;11s is in response to your letters wherein you reported the results of a recent seismic reanalysis of the reactor coolant piping at Zion Station Units 1 and 2 using an updated version of the WESTOYN code which uses an absolute sum technique.
On the basis that the reanalysis was conducted with both an approved method and acceptable results, we consider this matter resolved, and are closing out this action item. A copy of our safety evaluation addressing this matter is enclosed.
