This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. W. J. Tobin of this office on June 1-3, 1979 relative to the transfer of special nuclear material authorized by NRC License No. XSNM-1292 from Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Chalk River, Ontario, Canada.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to your program for protecting special nuclear material in-transit and complying with the Commission's rules and regulations and conditions of your license. The inspection con;isted of an examination of procedures and records, as well as observations, and interviews with personnel.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were disclosed.
A copy of the inspection report is enclosed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice",
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your safeguards and security measures is exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed report will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
