NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION - ATLANTIC GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2,

By your Amendment 33 to the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report for Atlantic Generating Station, Units 1 and 2, dated December 19, 1978, you submitted your Notice of Withdrawal of Application.

You also submitted the Notice to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board desig-nated for this proceeding. Accordingly, the Commission considers the application submitted by Public Service Electric and Gas Company on behalf of itself and Atlantic City Electric Company and Jersey Central Power and Light Company to be withdrawn.

A copy of the Notice of Withdrawal of Application, which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, is enclosed for your information.
