Thank you for your letters of December 27, 1978, and January 23, 1979 in response to our letters of flovember 13, 1978 and January 11,1979 and discussion with you during a telephone call on January 8,1979.
We understand that qualificaticn of the Shielded Metal Arc Welding procedure has been performed in the postweld heat treated condition and the results were acceptable.
Further, Gaulin Corporation's sub-contractor has revised the Gas Metal Arc Welding procedure to reflect qualification in the postweld heat treated condition and that this is now a part of the records for the pump pedestals in question.
We have no further questions at this time and will review your corrective action during a future inspection.
