Dear Mr. Bauer:
This memorandum provides guidance and funding to BNL to support the Division of Operating Reactors for evaluations of Inservice Testing Programs for operating nuclear power plants.
The scope of this work and schedule are defined in the enclosure.
The FY 1979 CH Financial Plan will include $225,000, an increase of $25,000 as of September 1, 1979, for this work under B&R 2019 04 031, Fin A3117. This additional funding will be made available by modifying FY 1979 CH Financial Plan to include an additional $25,000. The additional funding is necessary to conclude the technical assistance on Inservice Testing program reviews.
Bimonthly progress reports containing technical achievements and financial status should be sent to this office. provides an estimated schedule for completing IST reviews.

The enclosed NRC Form 173, Standard Order for DOE work, for $25,000 is hereby submitted in accordance with Section III.B.2 of the DOE /NRC Memorandum of Understanding of February 24, 1978.
