Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
Bulletin 79-14, July 2, 1979, and Revision 1 to the bulletin, July 18, 1979, requested that all licensees verify that plant sesmic analyses had used as-built piping and support configuration. This letter documents our compliance with the requirements of Bulletin 79-14.
The Brunswick Plant was nearing the completion of an extensive seismic reanalysis and as-built configuration verification when Bulletin 79-14 was issued. This entire program has been the subject of several meetings and many letters between CP&L and the NRC staff.
CP&L letter GD-79-1844 from Mr. E. E. Utley to Mr. T. A. Ippolito with a copy to you summarized our actions in this matter. This letter, along with the data previously supplied to the NRC staff re.rerenced in the letter, satisfies the requirements of Bulletin 79-14.
