Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 BWR Operating Plant Owners' Group General Electric Report, "NEDE-24708 Additional Information Required for NRC Staff Generic Report on BWR Reactors" The subject report has been prepared in response to your letter dated July 17, 1979 requesting additional information for an NRC Staff Generic Report. Copies of this GE report have been transmitted to the NRC via letter by T. D. Kennan, Chairman of the BWR Owners' Group, to D. Ross, Deputy Director, Division of Project Management, NRC dated August 17, 1979.
This report responds to the short-term generic information request of the Bulletins and Orders Task Force.
A later revision will include the remainder of the requested information, which is required to be provided by November 16, 1979.
Since this is a generic report providing information on all operating BWRs, portions of this report may not reflect exactly the design and operation of the Oyster Creek Generating Station.
Please contact Mr. J. Knubel of my staff if you have any questions. A copy of this report, NEDE-24708, should be included on the Oyster Creek Plant Docket.
