" ATYPICAL WELD MATERIAL IN RPV WELD" NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION In compliance with the subject IE Bulletins, we are enclosing the required verification that the weld materials information that has been previously provided to the NRC does pertain to the reactor pressure vessels for Hope Creek No. 1 and 2 Units.
This verification consists of a letter of certification provided by Chicago Bridge and Iron Nuclear Company, Memphis, Tennessee for Hope Creek No.
2, a letter of concurrence from General Electric Company, San Jose, California based on their 2.eview of CBIN's generic report to the NRC, and a letter detailing the record search by Babcock-Hitachi, received by and provided to us by G.E.
Pased on the detailed reviews provided to us by G.E.,
PSE&G is satisfied that the generic reports do adequately represent data for the RPV's for Hope Creek No. 1 and 2 Units.
