Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
On March 30, 1976 Vepco submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission a letter, Serial No. 956, which transmitted a report titled " REPORT ON STABILIZATION OF INTAKE AND CONTAINMENT AUXILIARY STRUCTURES, NORTH ANNA 3 AND 4, VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY." This report represented our final action on this subject as required under the provisions of 10CFR /J.55(e)
(3).
A section of this report described the Rock Anchor Test Program which was being conducted to verify and evaluate various design parameters, and to arrive at the selection of the rock anchor system which would best meet the requirements of our particular needs. This test program has been completed and evaluated and is documented in a comprehensive report.
We are hereby transmitting a copy of this report titled " ROCK ANCHOR TEST PROGRAM REPORT FOR NORTH ANNA UNITS 3 & 4, VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY" to the Nuclear Regulatory Conmission for your information and documentation.
