Dear Mr. Reid:
On November 21, 1978, Florida Power Corporation submitted a detailed de-scription of the Inservice Inspection Program planned for Crystal River Unit #3 for Code Class 1, 2, and 3 pumps and valves.
We stated at that time that this Inservice Inspection Program for pumps and valves would be implemented as described in our submittal in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section 11.0, 1974 Edition through Summer 1975 Addenda, for the 20 month inspection period which began on March 13, 1977.
This letter is to inform you that Florida Power Corporation will be utiliz-ing the same Inspection Program for pumps and valves for the next 20 month period which began on November 13, 1978. This action is in accordance with Section g(4)(iv) of 10 CFR 50.55a.
