to Docket No. 70-1257 Our Special Nuclear lhterial License No. 1227 presently provides for a special nuclear material possession limit of 5000 kilograms of contained 235 To provide for a peak in possession due to an exten-U sion of finished fuel delivery dates, it is requested that this possession limit be increased to 10,000 kilograms of contained 235 U A shipment of UF6 Presently scheduled for delivery on November 3, 1978 would result in exceeding our current possession limit.

A check in the amount of $150 is enclosed as the application fee for this requested amendment in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 170.31.
