ZION STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 43 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-39 and Amendment No. 40 to Facility Operating The License No. DPR-48 for Zion Station, Units 1 and 2, respectively.
amendments consist of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application of September 21, 1978.
These changes allow the containment equipment hatch of the containment building to remain open during refueling operations at each of these units and require auxiliary building ventilation through charcoal filters when irradiated fuel is being handled.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
