NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL - SOUTH DADE PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 By your letter dated September 13, 1978, you requested that the first part of your application in Docket No. P-636A, to construct and operate the South Dade Plant Units 1 and 2 should be deleted from the Commission's docket of pending applications.

Your partial application, consisting of the information specified in 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix L, was submitted on July 14, 1975.

You indicated that the Florida Power and Light Company has no pl

.or completing the application or for proceeding with the project in the foreseeable future. The Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's Order dated October 26, 1978 approved withdrawal of the application without terms.

Accordingly, the Comission considers the partial application submitted by Florida Power and Light Company to be withdrawn.

A copy of the Notice of Withdrawal of Application, which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, is enclosed for your information.
