DRC0 has informed us that they have identified Ray Miller, Inc.
emplied asterials for the piping materials used in the fabriostlos of the CtCS sonitor tanks. The monitor tanks utilize type 304, stainless steel piping and fittings for the 3-inch diameter inlet and discharge r
eennections, overflow piping, vent opening and instrument connections.
These tanks were supplied to un by Westingbouse Electric Corporation.

The CfC8 sealtor tanks are non-safety related components. The monitor tanks colleet the distillate discharge from the boric acid evaporators sad are used as a bolding point for sampling, prior to routing its sentents to the primary unter storage tank, CVCS bold-up tanks, and waste h

I disposal system. The monitor tps are fabricated for a design temperature and pressure of 150 F and atsospherto pressere, respectively. Altbough an ASE Code steep was not regaired, the sealte tanks were designed, fabricated, tested, and inspected per AstE B A PT Code, Section TIII requirments. A copy of the letter free BE0 is attaobed to this letter for your information.

Reference 1 informed Westinghouse that their item AMPRCATPR-01, Pressurizer Relief Tank, was fabricated using items of material suplied by Ray tfiller. Inc. Reference 2 requested that RECO

examine documentation for other equipment for possible items of material procured from Ray Miller, Inc.
i Rt;CO has researched nuclear contract documentation and finds that no nuclear equipnent has been supplied by RDC0 Industries to the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant which contained items of material supplied by Ray Miller Inc.
Four of the vessels specifically identified by reference 2 did contain pipe procurred from Ray Miller Inc. Those vessels were not nuc1 car, nor are they code stamped. They are Monit or Tanks f or Units 1 and 2, items AEPCSADfT 1 and 2 and AMPCSATMT 1 and 2 built to Westinghouse drawing 110E237 Since these wrc not code stamped ves ela, detailed documentation for them is not maintained ly RIr0 Industries.
