2 N/A CB VAI. VEX The unit was separated from grid due to high drywell leakage from the Reactor Recirculation Suction and discharge valves leak-offs. The suction and discharge valves were leaking exces-sively by the stem packing.

Inspectior determined that the Reactor Recirculation Pump 1A " staging" flow valve was not operating.

The packing was ad. justed and the valye glands were repacked as needed to stop leakage. A solenoid for the staging flow valve was found defective. It wat replaced and the unit returned to 8
