Peter Anderson, being first duly sworn, on oath deposes and states as follows :
1.
That he attended as one of the representatives of Wisconsin's Environmental Decade, Inc., the November 28, 1979, meeting o f the U. S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
2.
That Consissioners Ahearne and Bradford asked him questions during said meeting as to the adequacy o f Wisconsin Electric Power Company's proposed " package" of testing, surveillance and monitoring measures to minimize risk frca operation of Point Beach Nuclear Plant Unit I with steam generator tube degradation.
3.
That, in response to said questions, he stated that for reascas unrelated to this af fidavit, the " package" would not provide satisfactory assurance that the risks would be minicized.
4.
That, af ter the conclusion of said ceeting, Mr. Edson G. Case, Acting Director of the Office of Nuclear Faactor Regulation privately came up to him and stated that he agreed that the " package" would not provide the kind of adequate protection represented due to the high rate of corrosion and the exis tence of caustic stres co esion.
