Export of Special Nuclear Material This letter refers to an inspection of Marubeni America Corporation's activities authorized under NRC License XSNM-1274 by Messrs. A. Wieder, Y. Kobori, P. Zurakowski and Ms. B. Riedlinger of this office at the Port of Oakland, Oakland, California on April 9,1979.
Their inspection was conducted as part of NRC s program to test and verify those activities incident to the export of special nuclear material governed by requirements of Title 10, Code of Federal Regu-lations, Part 70, "Special Nuclear Material," and Part 71, " Packaging of Radioactive Material for Transport and Transportation of Radioactive Material Under Conditions."
Within the scope of this inspection, no apparent items of noncompliance were found.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's

" Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of our findings on your control and accounting nrocedures for safeguarding special nuclear material are exempt from disclosure.
