Dear Mr. Rose:
By letter dated July 15, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML19259A142), Industrial Nuclear Company, Inc., requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9157, for the Model No. IR-100 transportation package.
Enclosed is Revision No. 17 of the certificate. Changes made to the enclosed certificate are indicated by vertical lines in the margin. The staffs safety evaluation report is also enclosed.
The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR) 173.471. Those on the attached list have been registered as users of the package under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 71.17 or 49 CFR 173.471.

CONDITIONS The following changes have been made to the Certificate:
The renewal application date was added to the REFERENCES section.
Condition 10 was revised to state the expiration date of the previous revision.
Condition 11 was revised to reflect a new expiration date of October 31, 2024.
CONCLUSION These changes do not affect the ability of the package to meet the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 71.
