Dear Mr. Rodi:
This is in response to your letter of January 19 regarding export licensing requirements for certain equipment intended for use in the Philippine Nuclear Power Plant.
We have reviewed the list of equipment attached to your letter and have confirmed that the equipment is " balance of plant equipment" only and not " specially designed or prepared" for use in a nuclear reactor.
Accordingly, this equipment is not subject to NRC's export licensing authority.
