Dear Sir:

Subject:

Additional response to I & E Bulletin 79-06A Item 13 of reference (b) requested that The Yankee Atomic Electric Company propose changes to those technical specifications which would require modification as a result of the implementation of items 1 thru 12 of the referenced Bulletin.

Reference (c) describes those actions taken by The Yankee Atomic Electric Company in response to the Bulletin.

It is the opinion of the Yankee Atomic Electric Company that none of the actions taken will require modifications to current technical specifications and therefore, no proposed changes to the specifications are being submitted at this time.

Additionally, the modified Item 13 of reference (c) requested that Yankee also identify design changes necessary in order to effect long term resolutions of the items in reference (b).

It has been determined during our reviews of reference (b) that the existing plant design is adequate and allows enough flexibility to meet the concerns expressed.
