Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In response to your letter of April 17, 1979, transmitting IE Bulletin 79-09, Carolina Power & Light Company submits the following information:

Three items regarding General Electric type AK-2 circuit breakers used in safety-related systems were addressed in the IE Bulletin.

A search of plant documentation indicates that no General E'ectric type AK-2 circuit breakers are used at the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant in safety-related systems.

We trust that this information satisfies the request of IE Bulletin 79-09.

Yours yery truly, W
