Reference is made to your letter deted February 9,1979, advising us i
that you do not wish to renew Special Nuclear Materials License No. SNM-682 since as a " captive" contractor of DOE you are exempt from the licensing requirements.
Reference is also made to your timely renewal request dated February 28, 1979, which requests that the license be renewed if you do not qualify as exempt.
A determination has been made that you are an exempt contractor of DOE under the provisions of 10 CFR 70.11.
Accordingly, Special Nuclear Materials License No. SNM-682, which is now effective under the timely renewal provisions of 10 CFR 70.33, is hereby i
terminated.
