This is in response to your April 10, 1979 request for a one-time exemption from the requirement in 10 CFR 70.58(e) to measure certain specified samples.
We have determined that granting the request will not endanger the common defense and security and is otherwise in the public interest.
Accordingly, Safeguards Amendment MPP-1 to your License No. SNM-368 is hereby revised, effective immediately, by adding a rew License Condition to read as follows:
Notwithstanding the requirements in 10 CFR 70.58(e) to measure all special nuclear material received, transferred between PBAs, transfers from MBAs to ICAs, on inventory or shipped, the licensee shall, on a one-time basis, follow his April 10, 1979 letter.
We note that your letter of April 10, 1979 is classified Confidential-Restricted Data. We shall handle it accordingly.
