ETCORPICE WEIGHTS FCR SWEIG CHECK VALVES PRIUFACTURED BY VELAN ENGINEEREIG CORPORATION Consumers Power Company was requested by NRC letter dated March 30, 1979, to respond to the subject IE Bulletin. This Bulletin reported that incorrect weights have been used in come piping analyses for swing check valves manufac-tured by Velan Engineering Corporation. Consumers Power Company was requested to provide information regarding use of such valves at Big Rock Point.
A review of plant records shows that no swing check valves manufactured by Velan Engineering Corporation are used at Big Rock Point.
