This is in rasponse to your December 21, 1978 request for approval of a proposed inventory schedule for high enriched uranium. Accordingly, the Materials and Plant Protection Amendment, MPP-1 to License flo. Stim-696, is hereby amended, effective immediately. to incorporate a new License Condition 5.2 to read as follows:

5.2 In lieu of the requirement of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(3)(1) for scheduling physical inventories of special nuclear material, the licensee shall conduct physical inventories of high enriched uranium in accordance with the schedule specified in the letter dated December 21, 1978.

Sincerely, h
