State in detail the reasons for performing a PE on fuel assably Ic66 h5-a. The answer to this question was not responsivo. Please respond to the individual questions as askod. Bo sure that your anorer gives the negative salvage value of an individual fuel assembly; whether this negative salvage value 4111 reduce Dukets property tax obligation in Mecklenburg Cot;nty; whether rmoval ofspent fuel assmblies from Oconee county will affect tax obligations in South Carn 1h, and if so the dollar amount.

h7-a. The answer to this question is unsatisfactory in that, in part, the attachments provMed were inreadable. Re h7A, the plant and mrr4114ng buidings should be shown on the same sheet and the fuel pools, including modos of access 3 clearly indicated. Scale should be at least twice as largo. The revision should be the latest avni7nble and represent the current situation. Define "P.H. Drd".

What information do you have on the radiation levels of a cask prgared for offsite shipment? Ro " intact transportation vnhicle" in 107 51-a. Does the $29,500 cost estimate assume one time use of a new fuel pool?

Provide the itemized costs of constructing Oconee fuel pools 1/2 and 3.

83-a. Provido in full all authorities to the effect that the Prico-Anderson protection applies to spent fuel outside the generating station boundary a) in regard to the station of origin, b) in regard to other than the station of origin.

85-a. A visit to the Oconee station in, as I recall, June,1972, found fuel pool 1/2 a cct:pleted structure on the exterior.

Construction on fuel pool 3 had not, I was told, begun. Provide the date of initial primary excavation for fuel pool 3.
