SUBJECT:
IDVPs FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1984 PLANTS As you have requested, we have sent the letters attached to your memorandum of December 15, 1983, to the appropriate applicants except for the letter addressed to Duke Power Company regarding Catawba Nuclear Station.
For the reasons nentioned in the enclosure and consistent with the staff position being developed in response to the recent 10 CFR 2.206 petition from GAP, NRR does not believe that an IDVP for Catawba is necessary.
